My girlfriend has hidden all the vanilla candles from me. I am serious. Well she either hide them or she ate them which I mean they do smell good, but I don't see her going to that extreme.
Anyway, I like to relax after an evening work out with some Jazz and my vanilla candles (no gay comments from the cousins...thanks.) But yes now I can't relax and I shall have to be tense and testy for the rest of the evening...which means I wont get a good nights rest....which means I will be cranky in the morning. GOD IT'S SUCH AN EVIL CYCLE...WHY OH WHY ARE THERE NO VANILLA CANDLES IN THE HOUSE!!!!!!

I think Jade has that movie on some kind of special repeating never-ending program on our tv cause every time we turn on the tv there it is...Damn you Jimmy Stewart! Oh yeah that's right Jade...I went there! Take that!
Anyway, on the more important things...like me. First of all to all my loyal and amazing fans my hand has healed up nicely and I shall be back in full force for the 2011 baseball season. Yes I have to admit I can't wait til spring training. I have been hitting the batting cages like mad lately. Jade doesn't appreciate all our dates to the cages, but then again I don't appreciate all her cloth shopping. Yeah you heard me girl! So yeah, besides getting back into the swing of things, (get it? swing? Oh I slay me!) I have been chillin' with my girl and her obnoxious little cat I like to call, Satan. Oh yes it is Satan with fur. The damn thing nibbled a whole in my baseball glove. MY BASEBALL GLOVE! Jade is just lucky I didn't skin the damn thing and use it's hide to fix my glove!
Aside from that little drama life has been pretty good for all of us out here in Boston. I've been dragging Jade around to help me out with some local charities I work with in the winter, but we have both had a blast actually. There is nothing so wonderful as helping out other during the holidays. Well nothing except maybe curling up with my baby near the fire...that is of course when she is being nice.

Since I am out of the game for a while....and I suppose to keep my thumb immobile....I manage to get some time and head back out to Texas to visit my family....and I dragged Jade along. Jade loves it...don't let her fool you.
I know I am glad to be home for a while. Crazy as it sounds...I miss the family farm from time to time. However right now I am getting the stare down from Jade, my mother, and my sister....guess that means I need to take them shopping now.

It's official as of today...I am out for the rest of the season. 2010 has been by far my greatest year every of my career and I was hoping it would last, but because of the smallest of injuries it has to end early. I can't say that I am not slightly bummed by this, but the silver lining is my surgery tomorrow seems simple and straight forward and I should be able to make a full recovery and be back to playing with the Sox in time for spring training.
So what this really means is that I have some time to bother my girlfriend....yeah silver lining just got better.

Born in Missoula, Montana to Mora and Jasper Waverly Huck's parents figured him to be an average child who would grow up working as a rancher like them. However Huck was only the first of 12 children the couple would have (Amaryllis, Daisy, Kayle, Flora, Reed Magnolia, Aaron, Odell, Basil, Rowan, Aster, and Posy) and as their family expanded they began to think that maybe they should try and find more financial stability.
Jasper and his brother Amos set up the idea that they would start their own cattle ranch in Texas where Amos had purchased a ranch in Tulia. It was after this move that Huck got his first real taste of sports when he joined the local football team. Playing hard the young Huck stayed with football up until highschool when as a freshsman one of his coaches told him he should try out for the JV baseball. The day of the tryouts Huck discovered a passion he had never known really existed. Soon the young man began eating and sleeping baseball. Out of high school he made it too the minors.
It wasn't until 2004 that he was drafted by the Red Sox did his career really seem to be going anywhere. Under the new management of his agent Trisha Brooks. It was in Trisha that Huck found an ever greater passion...her. The couple soon married and only after a year they filed for divorce. However Huck has managed to pull himself together since then and has been more focused on his game than ever before. Besides, who needs love when they have baseball?
Well it would seem Huck needs love and he has found that in his fashion designer girl friend Jade. What the future holds for him and Jade..who knows.
